Service Description

This course is an introduction to language access and how to work with limited English proficient individuals and families. This presentation is relevant to anyone who works with the public, including those in the fields of social services, law enforcement, court personnel, mental health, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. Topics covered include: - Overview of language access laws and regulations - Tips for working with interpreters and language services agencies - Navigating interactions with limited English proficient individuals and families - Review of process for creating a language access plan Our Summer 2023 session of this course is free!
