This course is for you! The Business of Interpreting course provides you with the information you need to start or expand your interpreting and translation business. This course includes: Resources for starting a business in Alabama Overview of the tools needed to run your business How to work with language services agencies Tips for finding and contracting with direct clients How to make money as a professional interpreter Who should attend? Interpreters and translators who want to start their own business or those who are already working in the field and want to expand their knowledge of working as an independent contractor. What is included in the course? The Business of Interpreting is a 2 hour webinar, presented live on Zoom. After you complete the webinar, you will receive a link to the recording of the session as well as supplemental materials and links to resources. When is the class held? Our Spring 2023 course will be held on Wednesday, June 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. What is the cost of the course? The cost for The Business of Interpreting is only $125! Participants who complete the entire training will receive a certificate of completion from Deep South Language and Culture Institute.
